Mitzi Cowell “Love’s So…”

May 21, 2009 By Jamie Manser Leave a Comment

Mitzi Cowell Loves So(This article was published by Zocalo Magazine summer, 2009.)

The righteous blues rock guitarist has released a six-song EP ecorded earlier this year. Cowell penned lyrical rhymes covering themes of optimism, discrimination, longing, bad days and – of course – the power of love. Love’s so stimulating, throws me out of bed/Write down a new song that’s going through my head…

These are groovy tracks with killer players. Pick it up at 17th Street Market or Antigone Books. See Cowell work her magic live at the Boondocks on Monday nights with The Valiants.
