- Communicate the department’s accomplishments (research, awards, etc.), initiatives, and continuing education events though writing and photography – published on the department’s website, newsletter and social media – as well as across various university channels
- Produce promotional materials (web/print/video) for department programs, including its fellowships, continuing education events, staff events, alumni relations, and clinical services
- Media Relations via writing press releases, coordinating interviews, archiving coverage
- Work closely with Department Chair and Vice Chair of DEI on department initiatives and diversity, equity, inclusion programming; ghost writing for both
- Event production including conferences, faculty retreats, and department-wide social gatherings
- Grant research, writing, and editing
- Create and coordinate content for website, social media, newsletter, videos
- Dedicated to professional development by working with the Dean’s communications, newsletter, and social media groups; attending workshops on DEI topics and staying abreast of software developments in Qualtrics, Zoom, Creative Cloud
