Historic Downtown: Undeterred Independence

July 2, 2005 By Jamie Manser Leave a Comment

(Published in the Downtown Tucsonan, July 2005. Katherine Stinson, Feb. 14, 1891–July 8, 1977,  is an inspiring person. I did my research by going to the library and borrowing actual physical books for this article, reading those and working on writing this piece when I was in Florida for my Grandma’s funeral in May 2005. It brings back a lot of memories. Correction: Stinson was the first person to skywrite at night, not the first person to skywrite. I regret the error.)
