Songs for Susan
Susan Sykes was a dear friend, my older hermana. My party buddy and confidant; we were co-workers and housemates for a bit. By the time they diagnosed her breast cancer in April of 2005, it had already spread. The prognosis was grim, and they opted for aggressive treatment. It was really hard on her, and four months later she succumbed.
