I had a fantastic opportunity to go to this festival and took it!
Bonus: my sis Lee, who was working as “Pressie Galore” for Bloodshot Records at the time, was able to score me a photo pass and VIP access. It was absolutely fantastic, except for the intense humidity and coming down with bronchitis upon returning to Tucson.
Nevertheless, I got some cool shots of Calexico while in the photo pit. I’m still searching for my Drive By Truckers, Elvis Costello, Ryan Adams, and many more. I was shooting film at the time, so I need to dig through my prints and start scanning.
