About

It has been six years since I posted the original intent of this website, below. As I scribe this, it is May of 2023; at 48-years-old, I  have experienced so much since this website was launched. God, one would hope so. Different jobs, memorable jaunts across the U.S. and world, fucking Covid-19, intense national and international politics. Learning so much all of the time. That’s what our brief time on this gorgeous Planet Earth is to me, as (apparently) Socrates said: The unexamined life is not worth living. I hope that what are on these pages convey my ethos – a dedication to creativity, compassion, equity, beauty, truth, accuracy, curiosity, excitement for the sublime. I hope you enjoy my explorations.

The goal was/is to share all the things I’ve documented since my Tucson Weekly days (daze – which started in Dec. 1997). So many amazing Tucson community happenings that I was blessed to be a part of.

That’s over two decades to capture. I’ve tried to post a bunch of stuff that is already digital. There’s still a bunch that needs to be digitized. Working to get to all of it, and get it collected on this site, but – of course – life gets “in the way.”

Love, love my man, mi perro, and my gig. Those are the things that generally become more important than posting every last photo or published scribing of mine. I’m working on it, bit by bit. It’s in the name of love – loving this Old Pueblo full of amazing people. Wanting to make sure there is a record of the people who may not get mentioned in other media.
